Custom Jewelry Repair & Restoration: Upgrading a 14k Gold Diamond Bracelet | Stark Jewelers
Breathing new life into existing jewelry is one of the most rewarding challenges we undertake at Stark Jewelers. A client recently brought in a classic 14k yellow gold diamond bracelet that needed a length extension to fit comfortably. Rather than simply adding matching yellow gold links to blend in, we embraced the opportunity to elevate the design. Our team engineered three custom 14k white gold links, completely flush with the original profile, featuring pave diamonds set perfectly at the center.
The fabrication process requires meticulous bench work. Our jewelers began by precisely milling the custom white gold components before securely connecting them into the existing yellow gold framework. This careful integration ensures the structural integrity of the bracelet while seamlessly bridging the two metal tones. When looking at the finished piece flat, the striking contrast between the warmth of the 14k yellow gold and the icy brilliance of the 14k white gold pave links becomes the defining feature.
The final look is distinctly fresh and edgy, transforming a traditional tennis-style bracelet into a modern statement piece. Whether viewing the intricate design sketches alongside the finished piece in the image below, seeing our jeweler inspect the final clasp, or admiring the flawless drape on the wrist, the rigorous attention to detail is evident.
We take immense pride in the fact that all jewelry making, design, repair, and restoration are executed entirely in-house at Stark Jewelers. Keeping our work on-site means our clients communicate directly with the artisans handling their heirlooms, ensuring unmatched precision, security, and craftsmanship for every project that crosses our bench.
